Job Summary

  • Provision of health assessment and health surveillance programmes for a variety of clients throughout the UK providing an efficient an effective service to our clients.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provision of health assessment and health surveillance programmes for a variety of clients throughout the UK
    • Day to day maintenance of health screening equipment and facilities
    • Recording and maintaining clear, concise medical records
    • Ensuring safe storage of medical records and equipment when offsite
    • Driving mobile health screening units as required
    • Maintaining high professional standards at all times
  • Travel throughout the UK with overnight stays
  • Late/night shifts may be required

    • Work to strict protocols and procedures set by Health Management medical staff

    • Technicians are required to demonstrate, or develop through their training period, competency in the performance of a wide variety of screening tests and techniques, including the following:

    o Height, weight, abdominal circumference and calculation of BMI
    o Blood pressure
    o Spirometry
    o Audiometry & Otoscopy
    o Urinalysis
    o Vision Testing
    o Cholesterol Testing
    o Use of Cardiovascular Risk Assessor
    o Mobility & Musculoskeletal Assessment
    o Skin Health Surveillance
    o HAVS Health Surveillance

    • Demonstrate compliance with general mobile services standard procedures for mobile screening.
    • Consistently apply standard procedures for completion of clinical notes, data protection, handling of medical records and acquiring consent for all investigations

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Confident approach to duties and responsibilities
    • Able to communicate at all levels with HML clients and HML employees
    o Team spirited
    o To be able to act on own initiative
    o Possess good organisational and prioritisation skills
    o Be accurate in work undertaken
    • Must be PC literate in the following packages:
    o MS Excel
    o MS Outlook
    o MS Word
    • Full driving licence and flexibility with over night stays
