Job Summary

Responsible for contributing to the bid process in terms of both new bids and re-bids

Responsible for ensuring the smooth transition from new business in to account management

Responsible for any ensuring that clinical operational delivery is within the standard TOM unless it has been priced accordingly  

Essential Job Duties

Leadership

Provide confidence and assurance to the Operations Manager  in the delivery of new business implementation

To identify and manage all risks within scope of the role and escalate accordingly

To continually review resource and capacity requirements ensuring that resources are used in the most cost efficient way

To develop an effective working relationship with counterpart in other geographical location to ensure that client delivery is the primary focus

To ensure an appropriate governance framework is in place for contract implementation

Operational Management

Overall responsibility for identifying and resolving issues impacting performance of transition from new business in to account management

To support in the bid process in terms of writing and identifying solutions

To present to new clients and existing clients on HML’s proposition

Ensure that a professional and smooth transition is made (both from a business perspective and a client perspective) in to account management

To ensure that all contractual requirements are met within agreed timeframes and costs

Ensure that any client bespoke requests are appropriate agreed and signed off in accordance with the relevant approvals

To develop a comprehensive handover plan for transitioning the client from new business in to business as usual

To carry out a post implementation plan

Identify MI reporting requirements ensuring appropriate analysis to ensure informed decision making for both the business and the client

Ensure all approvals with financial consequences (or risk) are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Matrix

To play a key role in improving the profitability of the business by ensuring that all decisions are commercially viable and where possible are a ‘win-win’ for all stakeholders

Ensure appropriate governance arrangements are in place to ensure the highest quality of service and minimise risk to the business

Education and Experience Requirements

Experience of managing diverse groups of people across multi sites where the delivery of service is complex

A proven track record of effective client interaction and new contract implementation within the OH setting

Experience of effective negotiating with clients

Excellent presentation skills
